Troonzaal. Het kasteel is van Byzantijnse oorsprong maar werd na verwoestingen twee keer opnieuw opgebouwd, eerst door de Noorman Riccardo Siniscalco (ca. 1100) en vervolgens door Frederik II van Hohenstaufen (ca.1230). Later werd het uitgebreid door de Anjous. Sterk gerestaureerd in de 20ste eeuw (Gioia del Colle, Apulië, Italië). (Gioia del Colle, Apulië, Italië).
